Service Description

Report Issue with Microsoft Imagine or VMAP (VMWare Academic Program). The school’s Microsoft Azure Dev Tools Premium (formerly Imagine/DreamSpark Premium, MSDNAA) subscription allows eligible students and faculty to download selected Microsoft software products at little or no cost. This program is restricted to specific educational use. Likewise, VMAP offers VMWare software for academic use only.

Applications available include, Visual Studio, Visio, Expression Studio, Windows Server, and many more.  Your Azure account gives you $100 free credits that can be used to "purchase" Azure services.  Software can be downloaded for free.

Eligible Students, Staff, Faculty

Service Levels

Microsoft Azure requires an account on the Microsoft Imagine Premium website. ITS will automatically create accounts at the beginning of each semester for all eligible students and faculty. Accounts expire at the end of each semester. VMAP accounts are created and deleted at the same time. The agreement does not include Microsoft Office, which is available via the Office365 portal.

Requirements set forth by Microsoft change often and can vary from program to program. For the latest requirements, visit Microsoft's Azure page directly:

Service Charges

Though there is a substantial cost to the school, there is no cost to faculty or students.
