Windows OS Instructions: 

  • Click the Start button. 

  • Type ‘\\cyclone.adit.mines.edu’ and Enter. 

  • Scroll to and double click on the ‘OreCopy’ and ‘OreCopyColor’ queues.

  • You’re ready to print to the printer. 

 

 

macOS Instructions: 

  • Open System Preferences. 

  • Click ‘Printers & Scanners’. 

  • Click the ‘+’ button (bottom left of window). 

  • In the search box, type ‘ore’ and click the ‘orecopy’ and ‘Add’ button. 

  • Click the ‘+’ button again and type ‘ore’ in the search box. 

  • Click the ‘orecopycolor’ and ‘Add’ button.

  • You’re ready to print to the printer. 

  • If you are using a Mac that is not joined to the ADIT domain, you’ll need to provide your Mines credentials each time you print. 

 

How to retrieve your print job from all OS’s: 

  • Go to nearest Xerox printer. 

  • Use your BlasterCard on the designated spot on the printer to login or, 

  • If you don’t have a BlasterCard, you can tap the ‘keyboard’ icon on the screen to type your Mines Username and Multipass.

  • Click the ‘Print Release’ button. 

  • Check the box next to the print job you want to print (multiples are allowed). 

  • Click the ‘Print’ button. 

  • You’ll want to logout of your session before you leave.  Click your username at the top right of the screen and click the ‘Logout’ option.  Your session will logout automatically in about 30 seconds if you don’t do this step.
