Service Description
ITS will set up your new Windows computer with
- Microsoft Windows 10 EDU
- Microsoft Office Professional
- Firefox and Chrome browsers
- Adobe Reader, Java and selected other common utilities
- Laptops will be encrypted using the built-in Microsoft BitLocker
Other software may be installed by request, license permitting.

Apple computers will receive an equivalent treatment.

Service Charges
No charge for setup aside from equipment purchase cost and/or additional software licenses, which may vary depending on use-case.
Requesting the Service
Requests may be submitted here within Mines Help Center by using the "Submit Request" button located on this page.
Support can also be requested by visiting the Mines Service Center (MSC) or calling x2345 or 303-384-2345 during MSC staffed times. In this case, a Student Consultant will take your information.
