Office/Office 365 Issues

Service Description

Office 365 is a web-based platform that offers access to a variety of Microsoft applications and services. Office Online is a web-based version of the core Microsoft Office applications and includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote. All documents created in the Office Online applications are automatically saved to your OneDrive for Business cloud storage. A full version of Office Professional Desktop for Windows, Mac and mobile devices can be downloaded through the Office 365 Portal. These are for personal use and are limited to 5 installations.

Audience

All current Mines students and employees are provided access to these services as part of the school’s volume license contract.

Service Levels

This is a cloud service available 24/7. Support is provided through the Mines Help Center.

Requirements

User account must be current and active. Access to the service will be terminated within 30 days of separation from Mines.

Requesting the Service

This service is automatically enabled for active user accounts. There is no need to make a separate request.

Support can also be requested by visiting the Mines Service Center (MSC) or calling x2345 or 303.384.2345 during MSC staffed times. In this case, a Student Consultant will take your information.
