2.0 Purpose
This article explains how to resolve sign-in issues and “death loops” when accessing Microsoft 365 (M365) apps such as Outlook and Teams on Windows devices. These steps help fix corrupted account sign-ins that cause infinite login loops or error messages like “Something went wrong.”
3.0 Instructions
If you encounter an error message like this one, please follow the next steps:

Open Command Prompt and type dsregcmd /cleanupaccounts

- Press enter to restart your computer.
- Go to your computer Settings
- Click Accounts on the left-hand menu, then select Access work or school. Select the arrow next to the work or school account that shows and disconnect the account.

- Open Microsoft Outlook and sign in with your Mines email and password.
