This article will explain the steps you will need to follow in order to have DUO multi-factor authentication (MFA) remember your device for 30 days.
Steps
Purpose
To outline method of syncing DUO to Sign in Cookies and preventing the “Verify” prompt from MFA at each sign in
Procedure
Open your Internet browser and head to my.mines.edu . On the first “Sign in “ screen where your username is entered, check the box for “Keep me signed in”
Verify with your password.
Verify with DUO (This is a 1 time verification. Subsequent logins on the same browser will not be prompted to “Verify” )
Final Considerations
Depending on your browser settings, there are some cases where "Remember me for 30 days" will not work. Specifically, if you have your web browser set to never remember cookies, or to clear your browser history when closed, this may prompt you with a new DUO authentication upon your next login.
