Cognos Error: Browser Issue for 'My Funds' and Other Reports

Are you trying to run your 'My Funds' report or other Cognos report and instead get the frightful error below, that contains line after line after line referring to "_xxx_xxx@https://cognos.mines.edu/bi/pat/rsstartupblock_x.js:xx:xxxx"?

If so, ITS has found that it is almost certainly related to using the latest version of the Mozilla Firefox web browser.  While the error looks very complicated, the solution is very simple: please use Google Chrome for best compatibility with Cognos. Do that, and presto, the problem is solved, no need to submit a help ticket!
