This request form is being used for any device that is currently unmanaged, was purchased by Mines and needs to be managed so you can access internal resources within our network. Your operating system must be supported (ex. Win 11, Mac 14). This change will also need to take place on campus.
Before you submit a request keep in mind by adding your device to managed you will lose certain abilities like the following:
- Lose administrative rights
- May be restricted to in the applications that are installed
- A new software will be required to be submitted through our SAQ process to be approved before it can be installed
- Document folders will be redirected to Mines OneDrive
- Local logins will not be permitted
- This will be your Mines username and password
