Hello Eric and Fred,
Our team has reviewed Alex Flournoy’s content. We can help migrate this to a separate website but there are some important things to know:

  1. Everything on a new WordPress site will be publicly available.
  2. When looking at the content, I can see course content and test answers as well as other information that you may not want available to everyone.
My recommendation is that you use the files that Connie has already sent and save this course content in Canvas and with your department in local storage.

If you still would like this information on a website, we will work on creating a WordPress site with this content. We will just need your approval and acknowledgement that this content will not be private or hidden and anyone can access and view all of these course materials.

Thank you,
Karie

Hello IT,

Due to the shutdown of inside.mines.edu the widely used course materials of the late faculty member Alex Flournoy are now longer available to our students online.
Loss of this course material would be very unfortunate and a shame as it was one of the goals of the physics department to preserve his course long term in his memory.

Can you provide me the materials from that webpage? Additionally If I could have access to the course materials from his canvas, that would be extremely helpful.

Thank you for your help!
