Changed Status from New to In Process. This project was converted from service request 21094038, following is the feed: Karie Farr Migration Next Steps Your new site location has been activated for you on our WordPress installation for faculty. Your new URL is here: https://people.mines.edu/coulston/. We have added your image and some introductory content from your current site on Inside Mines. You will be responsible for migrating the rest of your content to the new location. Mines uses WordPress as our CMS and Divi Builder as our drag-and-drop framework. If you are not familiar with these, we are offering several training and Q&A sessions to assist you. Here are the dates: April 10, 4:00 – 5:00 pm April 15, 3:00 – 4:00 pm April 24, noon – 1:00 pm To join a training, please email kfarr@mines.edu with your desired date. Trainings are held via Teams. Here is your site login url: https://people.mines.edu/coulston/wp-admin, and use your single sign-on. If your current site contains course content, please note that while there is no policy on where course content should go, we do encourage you to use Canvas, SharePoint, or other non-public resources provided by Mines for this purpose. Please ensure all of your content is moved by June 7, 2024. Your site on Inside Mines will be removed after that date. If you don’t currently have a backup of your site, Connie Schamaun will share a link to a location where you can download all PDFs, images, and HTML files of your website. When your content migration is complete, your old website URL will be redirected to your faculty page. We will add another note to this ticket when we have finished migrating your content to allow you the opportunity to review and check for accuracy before IT creates the redirect. If there is any other information we need to know, please feel free to share on this ticket. By the way, the pages hosted on pvm-illuminate (seen through inside.mines.edu) are used daily, this semester, in several courses taught in the EE department. Please do not take this capability off-line without some prior notice. Regards, Sun 2/25/2024 7:54 PM Connie Schamaun (private) Added Zach Lundgren as a contact for this service request. [converting from email]I am a little confused. All my web pages are accessed by going to: https://inside.mines.edu/~coulston/courses/EENG498/ https://inside.mines.edu/~coulston/courses/EENG383/ https://inside.mines.edu/~coulston/courses/EENG393/ In order to edit these pages I login to pvm-illuminate.mines.eduWill the change that you are discussing below effect these web pages? I honestly did not know we could still login to a machine called inside.mines.edu
