Reset and Clear Quick Access Pinned Folders in File Explorer [Windows]

After moving your files from your home drive or department drive to either OneDrive, Teams, or Sharepoint, you may notice that Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc) are operating slowly. This article has instructions to help you fix that issue on a Windows computer.

 

  1. Open the Start menu on your Windows Computer.
  2. Open File Explorer. In the address bar. Copy and paste %AppData%\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\AutomaticDestinations into the address bar, and press enter.

2. Find and delete (Ctrl+D) the f01b4d95cf55d32a.automaticDestinations-ms file in the AutomaticDestinations folder. Shows app data location
