Digital Signage: Activating a REACH Media Account and Uploading Content

Overview

This article walks you through activating your REACH Media account and using the platform for the first time. You'll learn how to accept your invitation, set a temporary password, navigate the initial screens, uploading content, and return to REACH later through my.mines.edu.

Activating Your REACH Account

  1. When you are granted access to REACH Media digital signage, you will receive an external email asking you to activate your account.

  1. Click the Accept Invitation button. This will open up a browser window to set a password and accept service terms (see below). Do NOT use the same password you use for your Mines credentials.

  1. Once you have completed your account activation, you might see a screen like this if you're assigned to more than one facility. Select the one you wish to work with initially.

  1. Next, you'll see a dashboard with a video tour in a pop-up window. You can go through the tour videos now, or you can reach them later by clicking the orange Help icon in the lower left.

  2. Once you have completed or exited from the Tour, your screen will look something like this, with the players for your facility listed. This is also the screen you will see for subsequent logins. If you have access to multiple facilities, you can choose between them using the Facility Account dropdown in the upper right.

  3. To access REACH Media in the future, go to my.mines.edu and click the REACH tile.
