What is BlasterPrint?
BlasterPrint is our campus-wide printing service. The BlasterPrint service is funded by student tech fees for student use and IT department funds for employee use.
Each student's account receives an $8 credit at the beginning of each semester. If a student runs out of printing credits, they add money to their BlasterPrint balance using the instructions in the adding funds section below. Any funds added by a student will roll over year over year while they are enrolled at Mines.
If you have a file to print, submit it to the BlasterPrint queue by following the instructions below, then find a release station (located in most buildings across campus) to initiate the printing.
How do I send a print job to BlasterPrint?
You can use BlasterPrint by:
-
Log into any classroom lab computer or IT-managed computer and select a BlasterPrint printer.
-
When printing is required, Select BlasterPrint printer, Print.
-
Walk to any BlasterPrint printer/device on campus. Badge into the device with your BlasterCard. Select items to print.
-
To connect your non-IT managed computer, you will need to use Mobility Cloud Print.
-
Log into BlasterPrint using a web browser with your Mines email and password and select web print. You must be on the campus network to use the above -- wired, "Mines", eduroam, or VPN connections all work.

You can use a credit card to add funds.

- Then, choose the amount desired and click add value.

- From there, follow the CASHnet prompts. Once you've completed the credit card transaction, click sign out to finish the transaction.

- You'll see the funds in your account and also in the transaction history section.
