Using Kaltura Capture to create and upload videos involves several steps, from downloading the software to recording and uploading your content. Here’s a comprehensive step-by-step guide to using Kaltura Capture:

Download and Install Kaltura Capture

1. Log in to MediaSpace:
   • Open your web browser and log into my.mines.edu with your Mines credentials.
   • Navigate to the MediaSpace tile within my.mines.edu or use the url, mediaspace.mines.edu.
     
2. Download Kaltura Capture:
   • In MediaSpace, click on + Add New and then select Kaltura Capture.
     
   • Click the download link for your operating system (Windows or Mac) and follow the prompts to download and install Kaltura Capture.

3. Open Kaltura Capture:
   • Once installed, go back into MediaSpace within your web browser.
   • Click + Create followed by Capture. This will open the Kaltura Capture on your desktop.
     

Configure Your Recording

4. Set Up Your Recording Preferences:
   • The Kaltura Capture interface will display options for recording your screen, camera, and audio.

10. Save and Upload:
    • Click Save & Upload to save the recording to your local computer and upload it to your MediaSpace media library.
    • You will see a progress bar indicating the upload status.

    • Once the upload is complete, you can access your video from your MediaSpace My Media library.
    • Click on My Media from the main navigation menu to access your media library.
