Add or delete a member from a Microsoft Team or channel

Add a member from a Microsoft Teams group

• ​​​On the left menu of the Microsoft Teams app, click on the Teams tab. 

 

• Find the Microsoft Team you want to update.
   

• Click on the 3 dots next to the Microsoft Teams you want to update.
   

• Click on add member.

• Add the emails for those people you want to add and click send request.
   

To add member in the Sub Channel

• Find the channel and click on the 3 dots and select more options.

• Click add members.
   

• Type in the email address for the person(s) you want to add and click add. 

 

Delete a member from a Microsoft Teams channel

• From the Microsoft Teams app, select Team.
   

• Find the channel you want to update, and click on the 3 dots next to it for more options.
   

• Click manage channel.

 

• Click on the members and guests arrow to view the list of members in the channel.

• To remove a member, click the X symbol to delete the user from the Microsoft Teams channel.
• To add a member, click the add member + symbol.
