General Description: The R Project web-site describes itself as “a free software environment for statistical computing and graphics.” Availability: This program is installed in every ITS-managed Windows lab. Scope of License: R is free. Method for Obtaining: For personally owned machines or machines on which you hold administrative privilege, download the software from the R Project web-site and install it. For ITS-managed machines submit a Mines Help Center request for installation. In case of difficulties running the software in a Mines ITS managed lab: Contact ITS via the Mines Help Center.
