Scope of License:
- Can the MineSight Licenses be used by students on school computers outside of the classroom?
The Licenses can be used on campus on school computers for school related educational purposes.
- Can the MineSight Licenses be used by students on their personal computers?
Unfortunately, no. The Licenses should not be used on personal computers or outside the school.
- Can the MineSight Licenses be used by faculty/instructors outside the classroom on school or personal computers for classroom preparation?
The Licenses can be used by faculty/instructors on school computers outside the classroom, but they not be used on personal computers.
- Can the MineSight Licenses be used by faculty for research purposes?
Yes, school faculty can use the MineSight Licenses for research on school computers. The limitations are that the Licenses not be used for revenue generating activities and that they not be used in any way that contributes to the user developing their own similar type of software.
Cost to Qualified Mines End-Users: IT does not currently charge for use of this license in supported labs and classrooms.
