How to prevent Teams meeting links being added to all calendar invites

Mines uses both Teams and Zoom for conferencing.  For those users who primarily use Zoom and would like to disable Teams meeting links being sent by default you will need to look in two different areas and disable them.


Outlook for Windows - 

Go into File -> Options -> Calendar.  Under Calendar Options if you have the Teams plug-in installed you will see "Add online meeting to all meetings" as an option.  Un-check the option and save your settings. 

Outlook Web App (OWA)  at

Go into Settings -> View All Settings -> Calendar -> Events and Invitations.  Un-check the option "Add online meeting to all meetings" and save your settings.
