Email / Calendar

Email services are available to all Mines students, faculty and staff while they are actively enrolled or employed at Mines. Services continue during summer breaks and periods that may include study abroad, internships, sabbaticals, or extended leave. Special arrangements may need to be made during semester, or longer, absences from campus since enrollment or employment records may indicate an inactive status.

Logins & User Accounts

Computing accounts are available to all Mines students, faculty, and staff while they are actively enrolled or employed at the university. These services continue during summer breaks and over other periods that may include normal school holidays, study abroad, internships, sabbaticals or extended leave. Special arrangements may need to be made during the semester or longer absences from campus, or any time official records may indicate inactive employment or academic status.

Computers, Devices, & Connectivity

IT provides support for maintenance and troubleshooting for desktop and laptop computers, smartphones, tablets, printers, and other technology peripherals. We can also assist you with virus and malware removal.

Software

The Colorado School of Mines has access to many software titles. That software is available to the Mines community in accordance with the license agreement for each package.

Teaching & Learning

ITS supports on-campus learning environments as well as online collaboration and learning tools.

Research/HPC

The ITS Cyber Infrastructure and Advanced Research Computing (CIARC) team works to identify research needs across the University and aims to provide over-arching services and infrastructure to further research and meet the vision set by Mines@150.

Project & Portfolio Management

Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) is "Doing the right projects and doing projects right." It is understanding the overall project needs of the organization and providing prioritization of those needs. It is also the standardizing of the processes, methods, and technologies used in managing the projects that support Mines operational and financial goals.
