General Description: Materialise describes Mimics as “a powerful, fast, intuitive and user-friendly tool for any 3D image-based project. Using Mimics you can translate CT or MRI data into complete 3D models very quickly for a variety of applications:
visualization
physical modeling
virtual modeling for finite element analysis or research
device design
surgery simulation
and much more.”
Availability: This software is installed in BB 302, BB 303, BB 304 and BB 316 labs.
Scope of License: Per seat lab license — not available to individuals or for installations on individual machines.
Licensing: Served via ITS FlexLM License Server.
Cost to Qualified Mines End-Users: ITS does not currently charge for use of this license in supported labs and classrooms.
