If you are running into the situation where your iOS device frequently has to be re-registered with the Mines wireless network or you cannot access the Internet, private address could be the issue.
1. Go to settings and then "Wi-Fi".
2. Tap the blue information bubble next to "Mines".
3. Turn off the Private Address setting.

You may need to re-register your device with ITS again but that should solve the problem. ITS recommends using the "eduroam" network because it avoids this problem for the most part and works on other college campuses in Colorado.
