Issue Description:
How to verify if a device is connected to a managed network.
Impact:
All end user devices.
Issue:
With the new network, devices that are unmanaged will only be allowed guest network access. Managed devices will be utilizing certificates pushed from management platforms (ie: JAMF or MECM) to verify their management status. Once verified, managed devices will be granted access to internal resources while on campus
How to check:
The simplest way to check if a device is under management, from the network’s point of view, is to check the ip address that it is assigned. Please see below:
