Applying for an On-Campus Job as a Student | Guide

1. Decide to pursue an on-campus employment opportunity.

2. Navigate to Workday to browse available student job postings.

3. Review positions and select a job of interest.

4. Select the job and start the application process.

On the job application, you will be asked to indicate whether you have been awarded work-study funding.  You will also need to upload a screenshot of your current status in Workday.  Your screenshot should match the example shown below.

In Trailhead you can see:

  • 1. If you have been offered work-study
  • 2. What type of work-study you have been offered (Federal, Colorado Need, Colorado No-Need, or Mines)
  • 3. How much work-study you have earned as of your last paycheck date.

5. Complete application and submit.

6. Participate in the department’s interview process, if applicable.

7. Await the hiring department’s decision and offer approval process.

8. Receive and review the offer letter in Workday.
