***NOTICE FOR END USERS***

Body
Starting the week of February 17th, 2020, Google Chrome users should be aware that the recently released version of the Chrome web browser, version 80, comes with some new privacy-preserving features, which may have some unintended side-effects. Such effects will cause logins to some web sites (or applications) to fail. If you are having trouble logging in, try another web browser and open a Mines Help Center issue ticket to let ITS know about the specific issue. ITS staff will be working with our vendors to correct any problems proactively but tickets and other reports help identify issues faster.
Work-around summary:
1) Check your credentials! (Despite this known issue, making sure your username/password are correctly entered should always be your first response!)
2) The quickest work-around will be to use a different browser such as Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, or Safari (MacOS)
3) Let us know by opening a Mines Help Center support ticket: Please include the site you are logging into, which web browser used (Chrome or otherwise) and what Operating System you have installed.
