Service Description

This service provides Mines community members a controlled method of requesting and scheduling device drop-off/pick-up from the Mines Service Center. Remote support options will remain the preferred method of assistance when possible due to the COVID-19 pandemic (via ticket, phone, chat, Zoom, or Microsoft Teams).

Service Levels

Due to the COVID-19 response, device drop-off/pick-up support for the Mines Service Center (MSC) is by appointment only. Consultants are still available for remote support during the MSC's hours of operation (via ticket, phone, chat, Zoom, or Microsoft Teams).

Requirements

In order to use the Microsoft Booking platform, a Mines-issued Office365 account is needed and will be authenticated before confirming the appointment.

Service Charges

There is no charge for this service.

Requesting the Service

Consults are managed through Office365's Booking App but can be accessed here in Mines Help Center by using the "Schedule Appointment" button located on this page.

Once you are logged on to the Microsoft Booking page for MSC appointments, you have the choice between two types of appointments: "Equipment Pick-up/Drop-off" or "ITS Remote Support". In addition to specifying the desired time, please be sure to indicate the nature of your support needs, in as much detail as possible.

After submitting the booking using the Microsoft Bookings platform, a Mines Help Center ticket wil be automatically created on your behalf. Please be on the lookout for correspondence regading the ticket created for your appointment as ITS consultants may have questions for you to answer prior to your booking.
