Service Description

Request something new or different in terms of email access or accounts.
Request help configuring an email client such as Outlook, Thunderbird, Mac Mail.
Request a new email distribution list, MailMan list, or shared mailbox.

Service Levels

Special arrangements may need to be made during the semester, or longer, absences from campus since employment or enrollment records may indicate an inactive status.


Exchange Email (Faculty/Staff) - Email services are available to all Mines faculty, and staff while they are actively employed at Mines. Services continue during summer breaks and periods that may include sabbaticals or extended leave.

MyMail Email (Students) - Google-based (gmail) Email services are available to all Mines students while they are actively enrolled at Mines. Services continue during summer breaks and periods that may include study abroad, internships, or extended leave.

All Mailman or distribution list requests must be submitted by the faculty or staff member who will be in charge of maintaining the list. All Mailman list requests should provide the information requested at in FAQ #3. Distribution list requests must include the name of the list (no spaces are permitted), the usernames of at least two people who will be responsible for the list, and the list of usernames (one per line) of anyone needing to be seeded as members when the list is created.

Requesting the Service

Submit a service request using the button located on this page within Mines Help Center.

Support can also be requested by visiting the Mines Service Center (MSC) or calling x2345 or 303-384-2345 during MSC staffed times. In this case, a Student Consultant will take your information.
