Service Description

Request something new or different in terms of email access or accounts.
Request help configuring an email client such as Outlook, Thunderbird, Mac Mail.
Request a new shared mailbox.

Special arrangements may need to be made during the semester, or longer, absences from campus since employment or enrollment records may indicate an inactive status.

Requirements

Exchange Email (Faculty/Staff) - Email services are available to all Mines faculty, and staff while they are actively employed at Mines. Services continue during summer breaks and periods that may include sabbaticals or extended leave.

Exchange Email (Students) - Email services are available to all Mines students while they are actively enrolled at Mines. Services continue during summer breaks and periods that may include study abroad, internships, or extended leave.

All distribution list requests must be submitted by the faculty or staff member who will be in charge of maintaining the list. Student requests will not be accepted. Distribution list requests must include the name of the list (no spaces are permitted), the usernames of at least two people who will be responsible for the list, and the list of Mines usernames (one per line) of anyone needing to be seeded as members when the list is created.  

All shared mailbox requests must be submitted by the faculty or staff member who will be in charge of maintaining the shared mailbox. Student requests will not be accepted.  Shared mailbox requests must include the name of the e-mail address being requested (no spaces are permitted) and the usernames of at least two faculty or staff members who will be responsible for maintaining the mailbox.  Shared mailboxes do not include OneDrive access.  Please look at Teams if you need collaborative group chat and file storage. 
Requests by an individual to be added to a shared mailbox will not be honored and must be initiated by a faculty or staff member with existing access to that shared mailbox.

 

Requesting the Service

Submit a service request using the button located on this page within Mines Help Center.

Support can also be requested by visiting the Mines Service Center (MSC) or calling x2345 or 303-384-2345 during MSC staffed times. In this case, a Student Consultant will take your information.
