Colors that can be used with white backgrounds or text
Colorado Red is often used for hyperlinks on Mines web pages. Hyperlinks that appear in text blocks should be underlined in case users can’t perceive color.

Non-Brand Colors for the Web
The following colors can be used against white backgrounds and meet color contrast requirements. Many grays, yellows, oranges, and reds do not have sufficient contrast with a white background or text. The default Canvas color picker also provides many colors that don’t meet accessibility requirements. When in doubt, use the color contrast checker to determine if a color combination is accessible.
