Access the Accessibility Controls

  1. Open your MediaSpace video.
  2. Click the CC button to turn captions on or off.
  3. Click the Settings gear icon in the lower right corner of the player.

  4. Select Captions and then Advanced captions and settings from the menu.

Set Custom Caption

Size

  • Increase or decrease text size for readability.

Font Alignment

  • Align your captions to either the left, center, or right side of the video player.

Font Color

  • Change the text color to improve visibility against the video or caption background.

Font Family

  • Change the typeface used for your video captions.

Font Style

Font Opacity

  • Adjust whether or not your captions are transparent or fully opaque on a scale of 0% - 100%.

  • Adjust whether or not your caption background is transparent or fully opaque on a scale of 0% - 100%.

Click Apply or close the menu to apply changes.

Notes

  • Caption appearance changes only affect your personal viewing session.
  • These settings do not change the caption file or how other viewers see captions.
