Complete the following steps to configure your non-IT-managed windows computer to Mines’ network.
Make sure you have connected your computer to the network port with an Ethernet cable before you begin the steps below.
- From the Windows Start screen, type services and then press the enter key on your keyboard. This will search for and automatically open Windows Services.
- Right-click on Wired AutoConfig and select Properties.
- Set Startup type to Automatic.
- Click on Start and wait for the service to start.
- Click Apply and then click OK.
- A login window prompt will appear. Enter your Mines email address and password.
- You will now be connected to the network.
