Access Kaltura MediaSpace

  1. Log in to Your MediaSpace Account:
    • Open your web browser and log into my.mines.edu with your Mines credentials.
    • Navigate to the MediaSpace tile within my.mines.edu or use the url, mediaspace.mines.edu.

Create a New Playlist

  1. Create Media:
    • Prior to creating a playlist, you will need at least one video uploaded to My Media.
  2. Create a New Playlist:
    • Click on My MediaSpace in the main navigation, and select My Playlists from the dropdown menu.

    • Click the Create Playlist button.

    • Enter a title, description and tags for your playlist. The title should be descriptive and relevant to the content it will contain.

    • Go to the Add Items To You Playlist section.
    • Click the + icon, next to a video, to add it to your playlist.

    • If you wish to remove an item from your playlist, click on that icon once again.

    • You can reorder videos within the playlist by dragging and dropping them into your preferred sequence. Go to the My Playlist section and click and drag from the Move Position = icon next to each playlist item.

    • Click Create to save the new playlist.

  1. Edit Playlist Details:
    • Click on your profile icon at the top right corner, and select My Playlists from the dropdown menu.
    • To edit the playlist details, click the Edit (Pencil icon) button next to the playlist title.

    • Save changes by clicking Save.

    • Use the Add Media or Remove buttons as needed.
