Supported Operating Systems:  Microsoft Windows only.

General Description: Surfer by Golden Software is a powerful geospatial and surface mapping application that transforms complex XYZ and XYZC datasets into high-quality 2D and 3D visualizations through fast, accurate interpolation and contouring. Offers advanced tools for gridding, variogram modeling, mathematical grid analysis, and true 3D visualization of subsurface data, and drill holes.

Availability: This product is installed in all IT-managed Windows labs.

Scope of License: Campus-wide educational site license, available for installation on Mines-owned and campus-located machines for use by faculty, staff and students performing academic work. Use in funded research requires a purchased license. IT does not have any licenses available for personal installation.

Cost to Qualified Mines End-Users:  IT does not currently charge for use of this license in supported labs and classrooms.
