Accessing Library Resources (Journals, Databases) from Off Campus

Tips for accessing journals and research databases from off campus.

Online resources (journals, databases, e-books) are available from off-campus via the Library Website. Just locate the resource you need and log in with your Mines Multipass when prompted.

With Mines' new VPN solution (RAS), library resources must be accessed through the library's proxy server. Any of the following methods will ensure full access from off-campus.

  • Use links on the library website: Search | Journals | Databases A-Z
  • Add the proxy prefix before links (https://mines.idm.oclc.org/login?url=). Update bookmarks with this prefix.
  • Use a Browser Extension to load links through the proxy
